PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Head: 12+ years experience. As the head of all ongoing projects of all four services, you are the key driver with
the total responsibility to maintain ongoing business and grow business from existing clients. You have to lead and
inspire the team, making the members accountable to deliver high value to customers while bringing in growth and
profitability to Shining. Together with the HR department, you are responsible for the growth and career
development of people in your team.
Qualification: Engineer (preferable) with MBA (Marketing)
 
Principal level: 5 to 8 years experience. The ongoing project plan, matching customer requirement and desire,
will take 100% of your time. Once Shining lays down the business strategy, you will implement it in the client's
value chain in conjunction with our Strategy Planning and Creative departments. Being responsible for smooth
project management, you will need to handle client accounts meticulously, while forming a council with your
Head, to facilitate the flow of activities.
Qualification: Engineer (preferable) with MBA (Marketing)
 
Consultant level: 0 to 4 years experience. Delivery is very important for Shining. A delivery council with your
superior, Head and Management Council has to be organized to facilitate global standard delivery, and beyond that,
Shining promises. Your job is to handle the client for all implementation work in line with the strategic direction
recommended, and collaborate with Shining's Creative team for quality delivery. You are responsible to ensure that
strategy and implementation are not distorted. The best strategy with bad execution can make the client lose
business. Even if the strategy is just good, an unbeatable execution can better benefit the client. Of course an
unbeatable strategy has to lead to execution that is unbeatable.

NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Head: 12+ years experience. As the head of all business development activities, you are the frontline sales
& marketing chief of Shining. You have to check out and grab all market opportunities aligned to the core
competency of the relevant business service. You have to lead and motivate the team, driving them to acquire
new clients in accordance with the annual business plan. You are the key engineer of all marketing activities
of Shining and responsible for creating a top of mind recall of Shining as a strategic value provider in the minds
of the clients.
Qualification: Engineer (preferable) with MBA (Marketing)
 
Principal level: 4 to 8 years experience. Follow up on the execution of the annual business plan comprises
100% of the business developer's activity. You need to take advantage of the knowledge and skill residing in
Shining's existing businesses; consulting the Shining resource pool and Strategic Planning team would help you
extract business flair of different verticals that is crucial to target clients in different industry verticals. You have
to execute the marketing activities with a view to establishing Shining as a knowledge hub.
Qualification: Engineer (preferable) with MBA (Marketing)
 
Business Analyst: Your focus is to provide in-depth, microscopic analysis of the prospective client's needs and
desires through Shining's “custeval” framework. Every new business presentation has to master the knack of
co-opting the client, and Shining's Strategy Planning team can throw some light on qualitative matters. You need
to have strong skills of mining out relevant market information, researching related and unrelated industries of
target clients, and analysing the need gap where Shining can add value to their business. The presentation to the
client should impact meaningfully, so as to result in business conversion.
Principal Level: 4-8 years of experience
Consultant Level: 0-3 years of experience
Qualification: Any Graduation with MBA (Marketing or Finance)
 
 
PROFESSIONALS REQUIRED FOR SUPPORT FUNCTIONS

HR professionals have to acquire, nurture, and create different stars in Shining, stars driven by the concept
and discipline of Emotional Surplus. We develop intellectual property for our clients, so it is indispensable that

Qualification: Any graduate and MBA (HR) from a reputed university / institute
 
Finance & Accounts: You have to be an ingenious chartered accountant with strong commercial acumen and
business analytical skills & know-how to fructify money for business expansion. You should be able to convert
strategic decisions in financial terms for effective decision making. You have to plan, organise, prioritise and
achieve results. You need to contribute to promote and preserve a positive corporate image by following Indian
GAAP ensuring all compliances. You will have to be a powerful executor; detail oriented with a high level of
accuracy and effective risk mitigation and management skills. You should be the true implementer of one of
our values “client value creation through cost efficiency.”

Principal level: 6 to 8 years experience
Consultant level: At least 2 years experience
Qualification: CA
 
Admin: You have to efficiently run Shining's backend machinery by taking care of every administrative requirement
and anticipating all hiccups and glitches that can crop up in the course of our operations. You need to have high
managerial and planning skills for impeccable housekeeping activities while nurturing the administrative staff
members, an eye for detail, and excellent hygiene and civic sense. Knowledge of speaking and writing English,
Hindi and Kannada is essential.
Principal level: 6 to 8 years experience
Consultant level: At least 2 years experience
Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
 
 
RESEARCH AND STRATEGY PLANNING DEPARTMENT
To be in this team, you need to have the passion to understand human psychology, sociology, and the trend which
forms in the backdrop of history. It's important to also comprehend the impact that cross category products and
services have on consumers, as well as how the country's economy and an individual's own economic situation
influence them. You need to be curious and open to discover significant worldwide trends and happenings of
yesterday, today and tomorrow. Exceptional observation quality, analytical skill and strategic framework and
communication skills will stand you in good stead here.

Qualification: You need to have a doctorate or Masters degree in political science or economics, history, sociology,  psychology or anthropology, and/or MBA (Marketing). Alternatively you can be an Engineering graduate with MBA (Marketing) from a renowned university. Your work experience must be in qualitative research, either in a research company or in a corporate house.
