Shombit Sengupta, founder of Shining,
has been involved with different
European societies since his migration to France in 1973. In the 1950s Europe
went into
rebuilding its war-torn countries.
Automation and industry stabilization
happened in the 1960s.

The 1970s took the route of pleasurable lifestyle where
you work more, earn more and spend more, leading to
mass production and mass consumption. |

Shombit dived into European culture with no presumption,
no baggage, no bias, no criticism. He learnt how to enter
different social subjects with an open mind, to absorb the
logic and mechanism of their substance. He converted his
intense curiosity and meticulous observation quality into a
process. For him, every subject has its own innocence and
authenticity which should be cherished as the catalyst.

2000 years of heritage in Europe: The European skill of work is driven by twenty centuries of heritage, culture, invention and art. Every domain of activity has strong specialization and discipline. Patronage from the imperial monarchy across the ages has pushed craftsmanship to perfectionism.
